As someone who came to this country as a refugee, I\u2019ve experienced firsthand the value of hard work and determination, and I believe attending a military academy is one of the best ways to give back while building a meaningful future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When I immigrated to the U.S. in 2013 with my mom and sister, I had no friends and didn\u2019t know a word of English. But I refused to let that stop me. Over the years, I\u2019ve not only learned English but also mastered Mandarin and Spanish. My ability to adapt and persevere has taught me that with focus and effort, anything is possible. That\u2019s why I\u2019ve worked hard in school, maintaining a 3.97 GPA, and why I spend so much time training\u2014whether it\u2019s weightlifting four days a week or practicing jiu-jitsu three days a week. Discipline and balance are part of who I am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My motto is simple: \u201cLearn, work, learn, work more.\u201d It\u2019s guided me as I\u2019ve pushed through challenges and discovered my own potential. My dream is to join the U.S. Army, continue my education in the medical field, and build a life where I can give back while achieving personal success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For me, a military academy isn\u2019t just a school\u2014it\u2019s a place where I can combine my skills and ambition with my desire to serve. It\u2019s about honoring the opportunities I\u2019ve been given and stepping up to be a leader for the country that\u2019s given me so much.
