My journey has been one of resilience and ambition. I was born in China and immigrated to the United States in 2013 as a refugee with my mom and sister. We settled in Eagle, Idaho. Starting out, I didn’t have any friends and didn’t speak a word of English, but over time, I have almost mastered English, Mandarin, and Spanish—proof of my adaptability and determination.
When it comes to school, I like to joke that I’m an “under-achiever” with my barely adequate 3.97 GPA. I’ve always pushed myself academically while balancing a commitment to fitness. I spend four days a week weight training and three days practicing jiu-jitsu.
My entrepreneurial spirit showed up early. What started as a friendly challenge to help classmates with homework turned into a thriving little side hustle. Looking ahead, I plan to join the U.S. Army and further my education in the medical field. My ultimate goal is to retire wealthy and successful.
My motto is simple: “Learn, work, learn, work more.” It’s the mindset that drives everything I do.
